With more and more people using apps and computer programs to keep up with busy lives, technology is keeping up and allowing those who would rather write their grocery lists and other notes by hand, digitize their handwriting at the same time. Here are a few out there right now.

For Apple phones, the Moleskine's Smart Writing Set caters to people who still like jotting down ideas in a journal, but also want the convenience of automatically digitized notes.

It costs about $200 and comes with a journal, smartpen and app.

A camera built-in to the pen digitizes words and pictures in real time so you see exactly what you're drawing right on the phone screen. The paper journal synchronizes with the pen to work out which page you're on.

Moleskine's Smart Writing Set iOS only for now, but an Android app is coming soon.

For Android phones, there's the free Google Handwriting Input app.

It lets you write right on your phone or tablet screen in over 80 languages, and automatically interprets letters and transforms them into standard digital text.
The feature works with or without a stylus -- so you can use your finger to write.
