MISSISSIPPI COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

A manhunt in East Prairie ends with the arrest of a man wanted for three weeks on drug charges.

On Thursday, August 25 at approximately 9:30 a.m. Jimmy Dale "Bo" Loflin, 33, of East Prairie, drove to the East Prairie Police Department and told the police that he was just shot at by Clyde David Franklin, 40, of East Prairie, just outside of Anniston city limits.

Two other men arrived at the police department, identified as Larry Jordan, 60, and Joseph Clark, 19, both of Anniston.

After some investigation it was learned that "Bo" allegedly stole a vehicle from Franklin at a convenience store while Franklin was inside the store, and drove the vehicle straight to the police station.

Franklin arrived at the police department and confirmed that his vehicle was stolen from him by "Bo".

Officers searched the vehicle and located what they said said was "the most amount of methamphetamine and cash I've seen in my 9 years of service".

Approximately 3 lbs, 11.5 ounces of methamphetamine, 168 grams of marijuana and $17,000 in cash were taken from the vehicle.

No party claimed the bag the items were located in.

Franklin then fled the police department.

The Mississippi County Sheriff's Department obtained a search warrant for Franklin's address in Anniston and the East Prairie Police Department assisted in the execution of the search warrant in August.

At the time of the press release, Jordan, Clark and Franklin have been charged with drug trafficking of methamphetamine and distribution of a controlled substance with bonds of $200,000 cash only.

Jordan and Clark are in police custody.

Franklin was out on bond for an unrelated incident at the time. He was considered 'possibly armed and dangerous.'

He was arrested on September 12 after a manhunt.
