MARSHALL COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

One eastbound lane of I-24 in Marshall County, Kentucky is back open after an injury crash on Friday, August 26.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, both eastbound lanes near mile marker 27 had been blocked.

According to Keith Todd with KYTC, the vehicle is down an embankment, in the median, between two bridges. The recovery team requested an additional tow truck.

The crash involves a motor home.

A detour is set up via the KY 453 Grand Rivers Exit 31 Interchange to US 62 with a return to I-24 via the US 62 Calvert City Exit 27 Interchange or the I-24/Purchase Parkway Exit 25 Interchange.
