WANTED: Man accused of leaving the scene of an accident involving a baby

POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS) -

A Broseley man is wanted by police, accused of leaving the scene of an accident in Poplar Bluff.

Officers arrived at the intersection of 9th and Lester Streets on Tuesday, August 16 after a report of a crash.

According to police, one of the drivers left the scene on foot carrying an infant in a car seat.

The driver, Joshua Forbes, 24, is wanted on numerous outstanding warrants including being a parole absconder. He's also wanted on charges of leaving the scene of an accident in connection to the crash in Poplar Bluff.

Officers made contact with the baby's mother. The child was not hurt in the crash.
