MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Two people were arrested after McCracken County, Kentucky detectives found a meth lab in a Lone Oak home.

John J. Chesney, 32, was charged with manufacturing meth, trafficking in meth, possession of meth, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

Toni L. Neihoff, 31, was charged with possession of meth, unlawful distribution of meth precursor, possession of a police radio and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to deputies, at around 2 a.m. on August 18, they received a complaint alleging that someone was making meth at a home on Charleston Avenue in the Lone Oak area.

When deputies arrived to investigate, they say they could smell a strong chemical odor commonly associated with a meth lab.

The deputies identified the source of the odor coming from a garage on Charleston Ave. They said they could see fumes coming from the garage.

According to deputies, they went to the home and found Chesney and Neihoff inside. They say the two appeared to be under the influence of meth.

Detectives with the drug division responded and got a search warrant for the property.

During the search, detectives seized numerous active meth labs, precursors, meth, marijuana and assorted drug paraphernalia.

According to detectives, Neihoff supplied Chesney with precursors to make meth and that Chesney was supplying Neihoff with meth smoke.

They were both arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
