MARION, IL (KFVS) -

Police in Marion, Illinois have arrested one man for a robbery at the Borowiak’s IGA on West Main Street in Marion. Officers are still looking for a second man in connection to the crime.

Isaiah Dossie, 23, was taken into custody. He faces charges of aggravated robbery and aggravated battery. His bond was set at $10,000 cash.

Dossie also had an active warrant from Wisconsin.

According to Police Chief Dawn Tondini, two black men armed with handguns robbed the Borowiak’s IGA at gunpoint around 9:07 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16.

One of the suspects was wearing a black t-shirt with a gray hooded shirt underneath and the other was wearing a red hoodie.

During the course of the robbery, one of the employees ran out the back door and called 911.

One of the four employees in the store listened and did what the suspects said and police said that is exactly how she should have responded in this type of situation.

Just before officers arrived on scene, the men ran out of the store.

After a short track by the Marion Police K-9, both suspects were bit by the K-9.

According to Williamson County State's Attorney Brandon Zanotti, officers found an "air soft" gun during Dossie's arrest.

The second man was able to get away. He is the suspect wearing a black hoodie. Investigators said he also had long, black, braided hair.

The chief says the pair escaped with cash.

Investigators found a purse that was taken during the robbery. It belonged to an employee.
