Apps to help your student with homework

Apps are a part of everyday life.

Have you ever heard the phrase, "there's an app for that?" Well, there are a plethora of apps to help any student out when it comes to getting their homework done.

Here are just a few:

  1. Google Drive is a free app and can be downloaded on both Android and iOS devices. You can upload documents, pictures, spreadsheets, presentations and more. On the app, you can also open Google's version of a document editor called "Documents," as well as "Sheets," "Slides," etc. It's free and is a great way to keep all the school essentials safe in the cloud. It can also be used on your computer.
  2. Khan Academy is a website and app that is aimed at free learning for someone at all ages. Some of the many categories include math from "Early math" to "AP Calculus BC" and everything in between. It also has science, economics and finance, arts and humanities, and much more. Khan Academy is available on Android, iOS and computer.
  3. iHomework is another free app which is aimed at organizing your student's life. It gives the ability to add classes to make sure they're on time and in the right classroom, the ability to add assignments, tests and quizzes. Currently, iHomework is available on iOS devices.
  4. Quizlet is a website and app which makes studying a subject easier. Students can take information gathered from teachers, textbooks and study guides and put it into flashcards. Quizlet lets you go through those flashcards and marks the ones you get wrong, organizing them to restudy until all of the flashcards are correct.

There are many apps on both the Google Play and Apple App store which can assist in learning both in and outside the classroom.
