Zeigler FD continues support for Zeigler-Royalton Coaches vs. Cancer

ZEIGLER, IL (KFVS) -

On Monday, the City of Zeigler Fire Department continued their support for the Zeigler-Royalton Coaches vs. Cancer organization by presenting a $1,094 check to the Coaches vs. Cancer Fund.

Gina Martin Risley accepted the check on behalf of the Zeigler-Royalton Coaches vs. Cancer organization.

Each year the Zeigler Fire Department design t-shirts and sell them in their annual fundraiser to help promote cancer awareness and raise funds for Coaches vs. Cancer.

This marks the third year the Fire Department raised money for the fund, contributing $4,500.

The fire department are already in the making for the 2016 cancer awareness shirts.

Plans for the fourth annual fundraiser will be announced within the month.
