Former SEMO and Sparta stars play key roles for their NFL teams

A number of former Heartland football stars made their marks on Saturday on the big stage.

Former SEMO stand out wide receiver Paul McRoberts caught 3 passes for 24 yards including a key first down catch on the winning drive to lead the LA Rams to a 28-24 exhibition win over Dallas.

The Cowboys were led in rushing by former Sparta star Darius Jackson with 47 yards on 12 carries.
