WANTED: Paducah PD search for 2 armed suspects in alleged robbery

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

Paducah police are investigating a robbery that took place at a Sprint store, located at 5134 Hinkleville Road, on Friday night, August 12.

Officers were dispatched to the scene around 7:45 p.m. Friday. An employee told officers that two men entered the store, pulled out handguns and forced him and another employee to the back of the store. The men stole the employee’s cell phone and wallet, and took unknown items from the store before fleeing.

A vehicle believed used in the robbery was found abandoned in Massac County, Illinois. Details about the robbers are few, but they were described as two black males, one of whom was wearing a white t-shirt and pants.

 Anyone with information is asked to call the Paducah Police Department at 270-444-8550 or Crime Stoppers at 443-TELL. Tipsters also may text their tips to “CRIMES” (274637) by entering “KyTips” followed by their information. Information leading to an arrest or indictment may result in a reward of up to $1,000.
