Former Ripley County teacher faces additional charges

RIPLEY COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

A former teacher and assistant principal with the Naylor School District is facing additional felony charges.

According to court documents, John Mullins faces two charges of sexual contact with student by teacher, student teacher, employee, contract employee, school official or volunteer.

He pleaded not guilty to those charges.

Mullins is accused of having sexual contact with a student in October of 2015.

He was already facing charges of rape and sodomy in connection to a different incident.

Mullins is currently out on bond. He was released on his own recognizance.

He is due back in court August 17.
