McCracken Co. officials are asking the public's help in finding a man accused of assaulting and shooting at a number of people during a fight.

On July 28, at approximately 8:40 p.m., deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department were sent to a home at 3806 Schneidman Road, regarding a fight and shots being fired.

Through investigation, it was determined that Brandon Spann, 30, of Paducah, walked into the home and allegedly began assaulting the people inside.

Spann apparently struck at least one person with a handgun, before firing at least two shots inside the home.

The shots struck within close proximity of three children.

The fight continued outside as another person was assaulted by being kicked and punch by Spann.

There was also a third shot fired outside on the front porch, in which the bullet traveled through a children’s picnic table.

Through witness statements and evidence collected at the scene, enough information was obtained to obtain an arrest warrant for Brandon Spann for burglary - 1st degree, wanton endangerment - 1st degree (6 counts), assault, 2nd degree (2 counts), and criminal mischief, 2nd degree.

Spann is to be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information to the whereabouts of Spann is encouraged to contact the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department at 270-444-4719, our Tipline at 270-444-8286, or your local law enforcement agency.
