WASHINGTON COUNTY, IL (KFVS) -

Two people were killed in a crash early this morning on Interstate 64 in Washington County.

According to Illinois State Police, Zacchaues Williams, 31, of St. Louis was driving eastbound when his car left the road and hit a tree.

It happened at 1 a.m. at mile marker 54.

Troopers say two passengers in his car, Chelsea Dunn, 20, and Wilyssa Moore, 19, both of Mount Vernon, died at the scene. Neither woman was wearing a seat belt.

Another passenger in the vehicle, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to an area hospital.
