Deputies seize 92 marijuana plants in indoor grow bust

CALLOWAY COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

A tip about an illegal indoor marijuana grow operation ends with the seizure of 92 marijuana plants and a New Concord man behind bars.

According to the Calloway County Sheriff's Department, deputies obtained a search warrant and searched a home in the 6300 block of Shoemaker Road in New Concord. That search took place on June 6.

Deputies found 92 marijuana plants, 82 of which were hydro grown.

According to Sheriff Sam Steger, deputies also found a small amount of methamphetamine, devices used to make marijuana wax, cultivating/grow devices, cash, and firearms.

40-year-old Brandon McCuiston faces numerous charges including possession of marijuana, trafficking in marijuana (1st offense), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
