MDC: Spring turkey season harvest numbers higher in 2016

MISSOURI (KFVS) -

The Missouri Department of Conservation reports nearly 24,000 turkeys were harvested during the opening week of the 2016 regular spring turkey season.

They say this is 3 percent above the opening week harvest in 2015 and 9 percent above the previous five-year average.
