MISSOURI (KFVS) -

It's morel hunting time.

According to the Missouri Department of Conservation, morels are popping up all around Missouri.

The yellow morel, or common morel, is described as having a honeycombed cap with yellow to yellow-gray to yellow-brown ridges and pits; completely hollow. They are usually available April to early May.
