Atlanta Falcons announced they released William Moore

The Atlanta Falcons announced on Monday, February 8 they released safety William Moore.

From Hayti, Mo., Moore was selected in the second round of the 2009 NFL draft. He spent seven seasons in Atlanta, playing in 76 games with 72 starts and earned a Pro Bowl selection in 2012.

The Falcons also announced they released linebacker Justin Durant.

Durant was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2007 and signed by the Falcons as a free agent during the 2015 off season.
