HOPKINS COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - The Kentucky State Police reports it has charged an Owensboro man with drug related offenses on Saturday, Feb. 6.
On Saturday afternoon, the Kentucky State Police initiated a traffic stop on a 1996 Chevrolet Camaro for registration violations. Authorities soon identified the driver as Donald R. Galloway, 38, of Owensboro.
After attempting to conceal a plastic bag, Galloway was taken into custody.
Through the investigation, authorities learned that Galloway was in possession of methamphetamine and was then placed under arrest.
Galloway was cited to court for traffic violations and is lodged at the Hopkins County Detention Center for tampering with physical evidence and possession of a controlled substance in the first degree (Methamphetamine).
Madisonville Towing removed the vehicle from the Interstate.
