You and your friends have huddled up for the big game and you're ready to tackle some snacks. This game day classic combines sweet and savory tastes of brown sugar, little smokies & bacon for a full-flavored finger food that takes just a few minutes to make.
- 1 pound bacon
- 1 (16 ounce) package little smokies sausages
- 1 cup brown sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cut bacon into thirds. Wrap each little smokie sausage with one bacon slice. Skewer the wrapped sausages using wooden skewers – approximately 11 per skewer.
Space skewers a couple inches apart on a foil-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle bacon-wrapped sausages liberally with brown sugar.
Bake approximately 20-25 minutes until bacon is crispy, and the sugar has caramelized onto the sausages.
