CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - Cape Central football standout Al Young has verbally committed to playing for Southeast Missouri State University, according to a source.
A source confirmed to Todd Richards that the wide receiver has verbally committed to play for Coach Tom Matukewicz and the Redhawks.
Young and the Tigers had a 9-5 season in 2015.
He primarily played wide receiver and defensive back, leading the Tigers deep into the playoffs for the past three years.
The Cape Central record-holder is also a three-star recruit.
Cape Central announced a Wednesday afternoon signing for Young; and if it's indeed Southeast Missouri State University, he would be a great addition for the Redhawks.
