Man arrested after shots fired in Kennett

KENNETT, MO (KFVS) - A man is behind bars after a shooting in Kennett on Saturday, Jan. 31.

According to the Kennett Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of north Walnut in reference to a report of shots fired.

When officers got to the home, they found the suspect 44-year-old Alvin Wilbanks.

Police say Wilbanks shot his gun in the front yard of the home.

Kennett police reports Wilbanks was arrested for shooting a gun within city limits.

Wilbanks was lodged at the Dunklin County Jail.
