Tip leads to drug arrest in McCracken County

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - A West Paducah woman is under arrest on multiple drug charges and accused of endangering her two young children after McCracken County Deputies searched her home on an anonymous tip.

Detectives told the deputies they'd received the tip that drug use was going on inside a mobile home on Phillips Blvd in West Paducah.

Investigators say they located the home and spoke with Erica Hunt, 24, who gave them permission to search her residence.

Deputies say they found a pink box on the kitchen counter next to two bottles of baby formula, and a meth pipe with drug residue inside it, some marijuana, a digital scale and a marijuana grinder were inside the box.

Deputies also found several burnt marijuana cigarettes in plain sight in other parts of the home.

They arrested Hunt, who is now charged with Possession of a meth, Possession of marijuana and Possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hunt is also charged with Wanton Endangerment, a class D felony, because her two young children were in the home with the drugs.
