PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - The McCracken County Sheriff's Department arrested a Paducah man Thursday afternoon in connection with rape and drug offenses that occurred early Monday morning in McCracken County.
On Monday afternoon, deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff's Department interviewed a 29-year-old woman who said she was staying with Johnny C. Langston, 57, of Paducah, at 1105 Nelson Street in McCracken County the night before.
The victim alleged that Langston gave her prescription controlled substances and that she eventually passed out.
She says that when she eventually came to, Langston was on top of her sexually assaulting her.
Detectives found Langston at his residence on Thursday. He was interviewed at the McCracken County Sheriff's Department where he was later arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
Detective Greg Moyers is the lead investigator in this case.
Langston faces charges of first degree rape and trafficking in a third degree controlled substance- Klonopin.
