Making Headlines:

Lawmaker brawl: A Missouri lawmaker says a colleague upset over a right-to-work bill took a swing at him in an alley outside a Jefferson City restaurant and the two ended up in a fistfight. Now, Rep. Courtney Allen Curtis has filed for a restraining order.

State proposal: Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner will deliver his State of the State speech today, despite no budget and mounting pressure over the seven-month-old stalemate that's crippling services.

Travel alert: The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention expands its list of places on its Zika virus travel alert. The U.S. Virgin Islands and the Dominican Republic are now included in that list.

Under investigation: A planned mass shooting at a Masonic temple in Milwaukee was stopped before an accused man could follow through with the attack. Overnight, the FBI arrested a man on a charge of trying to buy machine guns to carry out an attack.
