The city of Cape Girardeau is offering a dinosaur lesson to children ages 3 to 5.
A "Prehistoric Playday" will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Osage Centre on Thursday, Feb. 11.
In addition to dinosaurs, attendees will also learn about saber-tooth tigers, wooly mammoths and other prehistoric animals.
According to the city, the "Prehistoric Playday" gives children a chance to socialize with other kids by offering games and other activities.
The cost to enter the event is $9 for Cape Girardeau residents and $10 for anyone who lives outside of Cape Girardeau.
The last day to register is Thursday Feb. 4.
