Fulton Co. deputies arrest 2 on drug, gun charges

FULTON COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Department, Kentucky Probation & Parole and Kentucky State Police executed a search warrant on a residence at 325 Crutchfield Road, Fulton, Kentucky on Tuesday, Jan. 19, resulting in the arrest of two individuals on drug and gun charges.

When deputies entered the home and began the search, they found Methamphetamines, other drugs that are being sent to the KSP lab for identification, drug paraphernalia, firearms and edged weapons.

While searching nearby buildings included on the warrant, an indoor marijuana grow operation was discovered.

A total of 13 marijuana plants at different growth stages were confiscated. A large amount of growing chemicals, irrigation & ventilation equipment and other items needed to support an indoor grow operation were confiscated.

A military ballistic vest, some processed marijuana, a Honda four-wheeler and a Ford Mustang car were also confiscated.

Authorities arrested Frankie R. Forrester, 47, and Elizabeth (Beth) Winston, 25, at the scene.

Forrester was charged with operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance, no registration plates, possession of a controlled substance in the first-degree (Methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance in the first degree (substance unknown), cultivation in marijuana (five plants or more), possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, three counts of possession of firearm by a convicted felon and three counts of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

Winston was charged with contempt of court, possession of a controlled substance in the first degree (Methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance in the first degree (substance unknown), cultivation in marijuana (five plants or more), possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, three counts of possession of firearm by convicted felon and three counts of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

Both subjects were taken to the Fulton County Detention Center. Forrester’s bond is currently $15,000.00, cash only and Winston is $10,000.00, cash only.

If the subjects cannot make bond, they will be arraigned in the Fulton County District Court on Tuesday, Jan. 26.

The case remains under investigation and authorities say more arrests are likely.

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by officers from the KY Probation & Parole, Kentucky State Police, and the Fulton County Dispatch.
