CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - According to the US Department of Health & Human Services, hundreds of thousands of Missourians have signed up for coverage at HealthCare.gov.
The HHS reports 266,036 people have either renewed their coverage or started new coverage on the government website and more than 8 million consumers have signed up nationwide since Open Enrollment began in November.
Open Enrollment through the Health Insurance Marketplace started November 1 and runs through January 31.
Those without insurance who do not sign up before the deadline run the risk of a fine of 695.
