Bootheel Bluegrass Festival announced again this year

FRUITLAND, MO (KFVS) -

The Bootheel Bluegrass Festival is set to kick off once again this year in Fruitland, Missouri.

The festival will take place at the Bavarian Halle banquet hall. Show times will be running from Thursday, Jan. 29 through Saturday Jan. 30.

Thursday show times are set to start at 7 p.m. and end at 10 p.m. Admission is $8. Friday show times will begin at 2 p.m. and are set to run through to 10 p.m. Saturday show times will kick off at 1 p.m. and will run through 10 p.m. Admission for Friday and Saturday's shows are $15 each night.

Weekend passes are available for $28. Anyone under the age of 16 will be allowed in for free.

Tickets will be available at the door.

Thursday night's lineup includes:

  • The Ross Family - 7 p.m.
  • The Gipsons - 7:35 p.m.
  • The Lewis’s - 8:10 p.m.
  • The Harper’s - 8:45 p.m.

Friday afternoon's lineup includes:

  • Chris Talley Trio - 2 p.m.
  • The Burie Family - 2:45 p.m.
  • The Harpers - 3:30 p.m.
  • The Lewis's - 4:15 p.m.

Friday night's lineup includes:

  • Chris Talley Trio - 7 p.m.
  • The Burie Family - 7:45 p.m.
  • The Baker's - 8:30 p.m.
  • Bull Harman and Bull's Eye - 9:15 p.m.

Saturday afternoon's lineup includes:

  • Little Creek (guest band) - Noon
  • Nashville Connection (guest band) - 12:30 p.m.
  • The Gipson's 1 p.m.
  • The Baker's - 1:45 p.m.
  • Blue Strings - 2:30 p.m.
  • Big Mill - 3:15 p.m.
  • Herbie Johnston and Fiddler's Frolic - 4 p.m.

Saturday night's lineup includes:

  • The Over The Hill Gang Reunion - 6:15 p.m.
  • Blue Strings 7 p.m.
  • Big Mill - 7:45 p.m.
  • Bull Harman and Bull's Eye - 8:30 p.m.
  • The Baker's - 9:15 p.m.

Other guest bands who wish to attend may have the opportunity to play, as well.

Vendor space will be available, but people are asked to reserve in advance.

A dinner break will be catered by Country Mart on Friday and Saturday. The cost is $7 per person (not included in ticket price). The meal will include smoked pork steak, au grautin potatoes, baked beans, salad, dessert and beverages.
