CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - A Carbondale man is behind bars after police allegedly found him to be in possession of marijuana while pulled over in a vehicle.
On Wednesday at around 11:37 p.m., an officer with the City of Carbondale Police Department stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation.
During the investigation, officers determined the driver, Roosevelt Gaston, 20, of Carbondale, was in possession of what police thought was cannabis.
Gaston was arrested for possession of cannabis and intent to deliver cannabis.
He was incarcerated at the Jackson County Jail.
