(KFVS) - Let's step into the Breakfast show time machine and travel back to this week in 1977.
If you were listening to the radio back then these were were some of the songs you were likely to hear.
Billboard's Hot 100 had the husband and wife team of Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Junior at number five with You Don't Have to be a Star to be in My Show.
In the number four spot was a song that combined disco, funk and jazz. Dazz by the band Brick has been sampled by several hip-hop artists through the years.
British singer Leo Sayer was at number three with You Make Me Feel Like Dancing. It was the first of two chart topping songs Sayer would release during the year.
At number two was the theme song to a movie from the previous year. The group Rose Royce had everyone dancing at the Car Wash.
And in the top spot was Stevie Wonder with a song about his childhood. I Wish was the fifth number one song of Wonder's career and was the lead off single to his number one album Songs in the Key of Life.
That's you look at music from this week in 1977.
