CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Interstate 24 westbound reopened in Christian County near the Kentucky Welcome Center on Tuesday evening, January 19 after a crash.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, a Kentucky Department of Highways brine truck was going westbound when it was hit from behind by an empty school bus going cross-country.

According to KYTC, both drivers were taken to the hospital.

The site was cleared after 6 p.m.
