Hwy. A in Cape Girardeau Co. clear after crash, diesel spill

CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

Highway A in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri is clear after a single-vehicle crash and diesel fuel spill.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, traffic on the Dutchtown side was being re-routed to County Road 241 toward Allenville.

They say an agricultural truck was going west on Hwy. A when it overturned, spilling approximately 600 gallons of diesel fuel into a ditch next to the road.

A Cape Girardeau Fire Department crew was on the scene cleaning up and the Department of Natural Resources has been contacted.

No one was injured.

They say the truck has been flipped upright and removed.
