First Alert Forecast show clear and sunny Monday with highs in 20s

First Alert Weather Outlook:

Monday starts with dangerously cold temps, so bundle up if you’re headed outside. On the upside, Brian says it will be clear and sunny. First Alert: Wednesday morning looks like it will be slick with snow, sleet and ice.

Making Headlines:

Fatal accidentOne man is dead and another was seriously injured following a single-car crash in Perry County, Mo. on Sunday. The passenger died at the scene of the crash. The driver was air-lifted to a St. Louis hospital with serious injuries.

Under investigation: The suspect of an armed robbery at a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in St. Louis was killed during officer-involved shooting Sunday evening. The suspect, a 50-year-old man, raised his gun toward an officer, prompting the officer to shoot the suspect twice. 

Search continues: The search for a 2-year-old boy from a town east of Memphis remains ongoing. Noah Israel Chamberlin was last seen going into the woods near his family's home, and could be in danger. 

Kidnapping investigation:  The U.S. Embassy confirmed Sunday that "several" Americans have gone missing in Iraq. Iraqi media reports said the Americans went missing in south Baghdad on their way to Baghdad International Airport
