PERRYVILLE, MO (KFVS) -

Three people face charges after an armed robbery at a Perryville hotel Saturday night.

Police arrested 18-year-old Michaela Christine Wilson, 18-year-old Joseph Marquis Lee, and 18-year-old Markus Allen Johnson Taylor-Helms in connection to the alleged robbery.

On Saturday, Perryville police were called after a desk clerk at the Comfort Inn at 1517 S. Perryville Blvd. said she had been robbed by two males with a handgun around 8 p.m.

A witness told police he/she saw two males run toward a parking lot next door and leave in a white older model car headed toward the interstate.

The clerk told police the suspect got away with $228 from the Inn.

The Ste. Genevieve Sheriff's Department later stopped a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle.

Three people were in the car. Charges are pending.
