CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

If you've ever felt the acting bug bite you then here's your chance to join in the fun!

The Southeast Missouri State University's Earl and Margie Holland School of Visual and Performing Arts are holding auditions February 13 for the 2016 River Campus Summer Arts Festival productions of "Always...Patsy Cline" and "Steel Magnolias."

Show up at the Wendy Kurka Rust Flexible Theatre at 10 a.m. and you could realize your dream of performing on stage.

Auditions are open to the general public, and whats even better there is a small salary included!  For actors auditioning for both shows, please prepare both a 60-second monologue and 32 bars of a country/western song.

Actors auditioning for “Steel Magnolias” only will present the monologue, and those auditioning for “Always … Patsy Cline” only will present the 32 bars and a monologue.

Callbacks will immediately follow the prepared auditions.

Rehearsals will begin approximately May 31. Performances run from June 16-28.
