WOLF LAKE, IL (KFVS) - A Wolf Lake, Illinois man was sentenced to prison Thursday after pleading guilty to the charges of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and criminal sexual assault.
The Murphysboro Police Department began a large scale investigation of Robert Allen Pleasant, age 37, after allegations arose of sexual abuse being committed on two children.
Throughout the investigation, the children disclosed acts of sexual abuse committed by Pleasant, which spanned a number of years.
