New services available to public at Paducah PD

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - The Paducah Police Department is offering expanded hours for fingerprint services and a more convenient way for citizens to acquire copies of accident and crime reports.

The Records Unit will provide fingerprint services to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Also, residents can get reports at the police department on Broadway or via and

Reports will no longer be mailed.

The "buycrash" and "buycrimes" websites allow citizens to download copes of their accident or crime reports and print them themselves.

No account is needed. Payment may be made by credit or debit card, or by Paypal account.

Both accident and crime reports are generally available 24-48 hours after they are completed.

The Records Unit is open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
