2 arrested after warrant served at Mayfield home

GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Two men were arrested after Graves County sheriff's deputies served a warrant at a Mayfield, Kentucky home.

Dustin Blake, 29, of Mayfield was charged with possession of marijuana, first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) second offense and drug paraphernalia buy/possession.

Steven Davis, 27, of Wingo, was charged with possession of marijuana, first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) second offense, drug paraphernalia buy/possession, fleeing and evading police on foot.

He was also arrested on a warrant for contempt of court.

According to Sheriff Dewayne Redmon, deputies responded to a home on Sunday night, Jan. 10 in 800 block of West South Street for a report  of a wanted person at the home.

When they arrived, deputies say Davis ran out the back door of the home.

They say he saw deputies and sheriff's office K-9 Sakal posted in the back of the home, so he turned around and ran back into the home.

Deputies followed him inside and arrested him in the kitchen.

Deputies allegedly saw a piece of foil with burn marks on it on the kitchen table. A white substance inside of the foil allegedly tested positive for meth.

Blake was also at the home and told deputies he was staying there with his child's mother.

He was also arrested.

The Kentucky State Police assisted the sheriff's office in the arrests.
