Vehicle collision in Graves Co. sends three to hospital

GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon is reporting that deputies responded to the 3000 block of Old Dukedom Road for a motor vehicle collision on Friday, Jan. 8 at approximately 6:56 p.m.

Jessica Brady, 30, of Wingo, was traveling south on Old Dukedom Road with her two children. Brady went around a curve and lost control of her vehicle.

At that time, Brady’s vehicle went off the road, into a creek and overturned. Brady was able to remove her two kids out of the vehicle and call for help.

Brady and her two children were taken by Mayfield/Graves County EMS to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for their injuries. Brady’s two children were treated for minor injuries and released. Brady was later transferred to Vanderbilt Medical Center for her injuries.

The Graves County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Mayfield/Graves County Fire and Rescue and Burl’s Wrecker Service.

Vernon is collaborating with Cedarhurst Center for Arts to conduct the "Opening Minds through Art" program for those living with neurocognitive disorders.
