MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Three people were injured in a car crash in McCracken County after the driver ran off the road and struck a pole.
The McCracken County Sheriff's Department was notified of a single vehicle collision with injuries that occurred in the 4000 block of Clinton Road.
It was determined that Barette Dowdy, 33, of Paducah, was driving too fast for conditions and lost control of her vehicle.
The vehicle veered into a road side ditch and Dowdy over corrected, crossing both lanes of traffic, running into the roadside ditch and striking a power pole.
Dowdy was transported for non-incapacitating injuries to Lourdes.
Passenger Jocelyn Travis, 38, of Paducah was also transported for incapacitating injuries to Lourdes.
A second passenger, Angel Lynch, 23, was transported to Baptist Health Care ER for non-incapacitating injuries.
Dowdy was cited for operating on a suspended license, driving too fast for traffic conditions, failure to wear seat belt, failure to produce insurance card and no registration receipt.
Clinton Road was closed for approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.
