CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - A couple of Community Emergency Response Team program sessions are coming up in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.
Certification takes 20 minutes and classes are on Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to noon at the Cape Girardeau County Health Department.
You can choose from the following sessions:
- Feb. 23 to March 22
- Sept. 27 to Oct. 5
The program educates people on disaster preparedness in their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization and disaster medical operations.
