Countdown to the Big Game: Day 4

Our countdown of Heartland football legends has reached number 4.

After starring at SIU, quarterback Jim Hart went undrafted in 1966 signing with the St. Louis Cardinals.

Hart set several passing records with the Cardinals, where he played until 1983.

He was also a four-time pro bowler who was named offensive player of the year in 1974.

He threw for more than 34,000 career yards.
