Several sentenced in Saline Co. on various charges

SALINE COUNTY, IL (KFVS) -

Saline County State's Attorney Mike Henshaw is reporting the following people were sentenced in Saline County Circuit Court during the months of November and December 2015:

  • Staci M. Anderson was sentenced on Nov. 17 by Judge Walden Morris to three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and to two years mandatory supervised release for the offense of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.
  • Erica B. May was sentenced on Nov. 24 by Judge Walden Morris to two years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and to one year mandatory supervised release for the offense of mob action.
  • Jeffrey S. Townsend was sentenced on Nov. 25 by Judge Walden Morris to 29 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and to three years of mandatory supervised release for the offense of armed robbery.
  • Barry D. Flowers was sentenced on Dec. 4 by Judge Walden Morris to four years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and to two years of mandatory supervised release for the offense of aggravated battery.
  • James M. McEwan was sentenced on Dec. 30 by Judge Walden Morris to three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and to one year of mandatory supervised release for the offense of driving on a revoked driver's license.
  • Claude Essary was sentenced on Dec. 30 by Judge Walden Morris to four-and-a-half years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and to one year of mandatory supervised release for the offense of possession of Methamphetamine, Essary was also sentenced to three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and to two years of mandatory supervised release for the offense of aggravated driving for driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Both sentences must be served consecutively.
