OLIVE BRANCH, IL (KFVS) -

Residents and volunteers in Olive Branch, Illinois came together at the Horseshoe Lake Community Center on Sunday in the midst of the region's historic flooding to feed anyone and everyone who came by.

Community members opened up their doors to feed hundreds of volunteers, flood victims, residents and authority personnel who have been helping with flood efforts.

Volunteers said they wanted to give back in this time of great need to all of those affected by the flooding or who are working to help those affected.

There was plenty of food on hand for everyone as volunteers prepared and served, ham and beans, soup, BBQ sandwiches, dessert, beverages and more.
