This week in music: 1994

(KFVS) -

Let's turn back the hands of time and check out the music scene from 22 years ago.

These were the songs at the top of Billboard's Hot 100 this week in 1994.

At number five was DRS with "Gangsta Lean."

Janet Jackson's ballad "Again" was in the number four spot. The song was from her debut movie "Poetic Justice."

Checking in at number three was "All That She Wants," a song that led to the Swedish group Ace of Base to take off internationally.

A song from the soundtrack to the movie "The Three Musketeers" was at number two. "All for Love" would go on to become a number one hit for the trio of Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart and Sting.

And in the top spot was a song Mariah Carey wrote and intended to give to Gloria Estefan. But she ended up recording it herself and "Hero" is now considered one of her signature songs.
