Your First Alert forecast shows chilly, but dry weather for the New Year.

While the weather isn't bad, flooding across the Heartland is still a big concern.

I-55 near the 193 mile marker on the Jefferson-St. Louis County line is closed in both directions due to rising waters from the Meramec River.

There are also numerous other roads in Missouri, Illinois and Kentucky that are closed due to floodwaters, including the U.S. 51 Ohio River "Cairo" Bridge.

Stay with us on-air and online for the latest, and make sure you check out everything you need to know on the New Year Flood.
