Toy drive in Pope County, IL collects about 250 toys for area children

POPE COUNTY, IL (KFVS) -

The Cars for Kids charity toy drive helped more than 50 children in Pope County, Illinois have a great Christmas.

According to Pope County EMA Director Chris Haun, they collected about 250 toys and volunteers delivered them to about 57 kids.

Haun is an organizer for the toy drive. He said the Golconda Dollar General store manager contacted him about wanting to do the toy drive.
