The mild December temperatures are keeping some Southern Illinois businesses busy.
Greg Haub has owned Family Lawn Care in Herrin, Illinois for the past 20 years. He said the above average temperatures are keeping his landscapers busy in December.
"Yea so we've got a few trucks in here that we haven't utilized this year,” Haub said. "The latest in the season we may have mowed since maybe 1999."He said he hasn't ever had to keep his crews mowing this close to Christmas. Haub said most mowing contracts end in December but this year is different.
