Cloudy but warm today - First Alert: strong storms headed this way

First Alert Weather Outlook:

After the rain, thunder and lightning overnight, your Tuesday will be dry. Much of the Heartland will see some clouds today, with highs near 60 this afternoon. First Alert: There’s a chance of strong storms for Wednesday.

Making Headlines:

Wanted suspect: Cape Girardeau police are searching for a man wanted in connection to a stolen credit card used at an ATM and local business. Anyone with information about the suspect's identity or location is asked to call police. 

Under investigation:  The Perry County Sheriff's Office is searching for a suspect involved in an assault while on school property. The suspect has been identified as 18-year-old Jesse Steven Walls, 18, of Sedgewickville, Missouri.

Deadly attack: The Taliban suicide bombing that killed six U.S. troops near a Kabul base has been the ruled the deadliest attack on Americans in the country since August. A New York City police detective is one of the American troops killed in the suicide attack.

In court: U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, who disappeared in Afghanistan in 2009 and was held by the Taliban for five years, is scheduled to appear before a military judge today. He's facing charges of desertion and misbehavior before the enemy.
