MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

A McCracken County man has been arrested after allegedly stabbing two people within two hours.

Marissa Mckinney said her son, Tilon Hill, 22, of Paducah, showed up at her home around 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17.

Hill was reportedly angry and allegedly tried to stab his mother with a knife, but instead stabbed Jeraltavien Burton, who was sitting next to Mckinney on the couch.

Police say he then left and went to the home of his grandmother, Marquita Hamilton.

According to police, Hamilton said Hill was in the living room when Mckinney called and said Hill had stabbed someone.

She said Hill then came into the kitchen and stabbed her while she was still on the telephone.

Both Burton and Hamilton were taken to area hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries and were later released.

Hill was found a short time later.

He was arrested on charges of first-degree assault and second-degree assault and booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail.
